Noooooooo! I hope not, one of my favourite programmes

ifigoup · 18/02/2017 09:52

Whatttttt?

Mouthfulofquiz · 18/02/2017 09:59

They cannot do this!!!!!!! It's my absolute favourite.

Sunnymeg · 18/02/2017 10:27

More upset about this, than Bake Off moving.

msrisotto · 18/02/2017 11:03

The petition is up to about 20,000 signatures. I don't have a clue how many is enough to influence decisions.

What a scandal. It is the perfect tea and biscuits program.

Katedotness1963 · 19/02/2017 17:04

That would be a shame. Although I can't sew a stitch myself I really enjoy that show. Also the pottery one, the interior design one, the allotment one, the bake off, the art one... Basically I like to watch people with talents as I have none myself.

olderthanyouthink · 19/02/2017 17:07
Sad
TinfoilHattie · 20/02/2017 17:46

Gutted. Love the Sewing Bee. Almost as much as the Pottery ThrowDown.

olympicsrock · 20/02/2017 17:48

Live that programme. So does DH!

Raahh · 20/02/2017 17:51

Nooo! I love Sewing Bee. I love all these shows too. They are a lovely, gentle distraction in the evenings. No big prizes, or major dramas, but still entertaining. And they show genuine skills that are dying out.

WhoKn0wsWhereTheTimeG0es · 20/02/2017 17:57

I'm not sure. I love these shows generally (apart from the Allotment one which was dire) but I think they get a bit same old, same old after a few series. I had more or less given up on Bake-Off for the same reason.

sheldonesque · 21/02/2017 00:18

I am not impressed. How very dare they? I didn't like them getting rid of the Allotment Challenge either.

I love all shows like this - although I confess to going clean off Bake Off thanks to all that philandering shenanigans. I could never look at him the same way after that.

The rest are all happy viewing for me. Pots, painting and gardening? Lovely stuff.

The Bee is fabulous though and I say that as someone who can just about manage to sew on buttons.

And yet we get Let It Shine...

SuffolkBumkin · 21/02/2017 00:26

I starting watching this that twat from TGBBO started shagging about. Just signed the petition. Fingers crossed.

hollyisalovelyname · 21/02/2017 21:20

Nooooooooooo
😰 Sad😰

kwick · 27/02/2017 20:17

This is just too sad. I have signed the petition but it needs to get way more signatures before the BBC will "listen".

I would rather they had cancelled bloody Eastenders. Or The One Show.

kwick · 02/03/2017 18:04

Not Eastenders surely!! But the One Show defo!!

msrisotto · 02/03/2017 19:00

I'd throw EastEnders under the bus for the sewing bee Grin

OP posts:
kwick · 02/03/2017 19:20

Haha!!! I like Eastenders- it makes me feel better about my life when I see what is happening on the square Grin

dillite · 02/03/2017 21:16

But it's not real! You are watching people being paid loads of money to act out Jeremy Kyle show!
