Has anyone read his book 'Becoming Johnny Vegas'? VERY interesting read. The guy has had(still has?) some major issues. It's by Michael Pennington (His 'real' name)

They have so many guests on this show.

Johnny is engaging with the guests Tim ignores them so he can be blokey with Simon he does my head in.

I think it must be quite exhausting for Simon, trying to keep on track with Johnny but it's such a nice change from Tim, who's an absolute personality vacuum. Tim doesn't cope very well with the voices in his ear from the gallery either, he often seems totally detached from the interviewee when he asks a question. They give an interesting reply and he just says 'ok' or 'right' flat as you like, then he moves on without engaging much at all. I think Tim has a comfort zone that he really doesn't want challenging at all.

The chef's a bit humourless yes, but it must be quite tricky for him cooking on live TV and coping with everything else going on in the studio.
