Hollyoaks...... new theme tune

just seen hollyoaks firstlook- hideous new theme tune,or did i overlap with something else!!!!!
(though i am embarrassed to admit iwatch it....)

god, its AWFUL!!!

its terrible, looks and osunds like they have let work experience people do it. Makes a change from them doing the camera work i guess

it looks like they're trying to jazz it up like that 'in the city' thing/

my ds aged 4 used to love the old style 'rolling' titles... he will be disappointed by this...( he doesn't watch it though!)

it's usually at that mummy time switchover from cbeebies to e4- he watches the credits announces its rubbish and asks to go to bed- works like a dream...

hollyoaks is great! Almost as good as Corrie

My ds (10months) always used to stop what he was doing and watch the tv when the theme tune came on (he didn't watch the whole program, just the tune bits) so he'll be disappointed at the new one. Its not very good, not catchy at all. Mind you maybe that's a good thing.

I hate it and feel like an end of an era..sounds funny but since having DS[3] and the girls all 3 of them no matter how much they were screaming the sound of hollyoaks theme tune used to make them stop for that 30 seconds..lol

I heard it yesterday and it is awful. My dd(3.5) usually shouts 'Mummy Hollyaks is on' because she knows the tune, but of course yesterday she didn't tell me because she didn't recognise it

My dp was cringing at the tune. It really is pants although I supoose it will grow on us.

Did anyone else think Amy acted the labour
so well? I had tears in my eyes for her!

I thought it was brilliant. Was watching it on bike at the gym and thought she was great

I thought it was due a re-vamp because the old one had mostly dead characters in it but they could have kept the old music just with new pics imo...

i agree!! mind you the rate at which they kill people off in hollyoaks, won't be very long before they will need new titles anyway- hopefully better ones!!
