Withnail reference in GOT?

I was watching an episode from halfway through series 5 of Game of Thrones; someone refers to a character as a 'perfumed ponce'. I immediately thought of Withnail and I. Can't be a coincidence?

I bet it isn't a coincidence! That is the scene in the pub when ' I ' has perfume on his shoes, Gardenia or something like that.

'essence of petunia'

I did not watch the whole series, but it is called the perfumed seneschal in the books. Probably changed for tv-viewers by the (generally) British crew who would have seen Withnail and I.
