American Netflix in the UK

I read that some people can watch the American version of Netflix here in the UK as there is a wider catalogue of films. Any tips?

Hi, you used to be able to use a proxy called VPN to change your browser to appear to be in the USA. Unfortunately Netflix' blocked it a year ago and now you can't watch the USA catalog. Which is a shame as it is as you say bigger and better.
