We missed the week before lasts - why oh why don't they repeat it on BBC4 or something instead of the endless repeats of c**p?!
I'm amazed dh is enjoying it as much as me - probably cos he's a scouser!

Did anyone see the final episode? I've loved this and not missed one, but had to turn off at the end of episode 7 as I got v upset. Missed Friday's as I was visiting a friend - can anyone fill me in on what I missed?

The family rode to the rescue with Ruby in the fore-front. The elder sister didn't become a nun as she couldn't afford it and didn't like the mother superior's attitude - the priest had already been sent away by his superior.

I've just checked the BBC website - it hasn't, as yet, been re-commissioned (although they built a special set near Aintree so you'd think they'd want to get their money's worth). Also, according to the writer, Brazendale is an old Lancastrian name - she grew up in Liverpool.
