Loving it too!
We missed the week before lasts - why oh why don't they repeat it on BBC4 or something instead of the endless repeats of c**p?!
I'm amazed dh is enjoying it as much as me - probably cos he's a scouser!

Did anyone see the final episode? I've loved this and not missed one, but had to turn off at the end of episode 7 as I got v upset. Missed Friday's as I was visiting a friend - can anyone fill me in on what I missed?

Thanks!

May had her baby, Dadda delivered it and eventually came around to accepting him after May a) tried to kill herself b) nearly gave up the baby for adoption to the Brazendales (is it me, or is that an unlikely name anyway?). after being pressured by the wife whilst her husband was in New York. The family rode to the rescue with Ruby in the fore-front. The elder sister didn't become a nun as she couldn't afford it and didn't like the mother superior's attitude - the priest had already been sent away by his superior.

I think that about covers it

I've just checked the BBC website - it hasn't, as yet, been re-commissioned (although they built a special set near Aintree so you'd think they'd want to get their money's worth). Also, according to the writer, Brazendale is an old Lancastrian name - she grew up in Liverpool.
