I've just emptied tge vacuum and washed tge filters, crosswaved my dining room rug and cats mat, cleaned underneath sofa and spray painted ut. Whew

I never wash the filter. I brush it out though. I hate you for creating more work for me 😩
I can never look at my vacuumed cleaner after emptying and not think washing it again.

I've run out of hoover bags so I've got half the floor looking nice and the other half covered in line needles off the Xmas tree. I tried emptying it but then needles kept stabbing me, so I've just left it.

Mine doesn't use a bag. It makes sense that I would have to wash it every now and then from now on.

I've got a bales hoover. It's only about six months old. Only works on the attachment. When I push the hoover it won't suck! Second vacuum in two years this has happened with. Pissed me off. I'm going to see if it's blocked underneath.
