A new life in Australia

Is anybody else watching?

I though it was ok. I thought it would be a retread of WDU but it does give you more of a sense of what moving will be like, how they find living in the house they got, how their jobs are going etc. WDU gives you very little idea of the actuality.

I felt so sorry for the nan . She was so brave and wanting them to have a better life. Even with Skype etc, there's no substitute for a hug. Other than that I thought it was really interesting.

Saw at the end that the nan had died. Hopefully they got to see her one more time.

I admit to being a bit confused. How did they go out there without jobs? How did they qualify for work visas?
Missed that about the nan. What a shame.
