New BBC box set - anyone watching?? What a lovely gentle drama

I agree, and better than the book by all accounts. Though, being vague and trying not to give spoilers, I did cringe a bit at the behaviour shown at the Commonwealth Games.

I really liked this (more than the novel). Thought the casting and acting was great.

I just got round to watching this and cried like a big big baby through most of the last episode
