Anyway, what do you think of the new series?

I've just finished episode 4, I'm in tears, it was so happy but so sad too!

I think the latest series is 60% good and 40% filler. The good episodes are fantastic though. Is number 4 San Junipero? That was the stand out episode for me.

Yes, San Juniper was fantastic. The production was amazing and the acting was great too. So sad at the end though, with those little flicking lights.

I must be the only person who didn't care for San Junipero.

Episode 3 with Bronn was the high point for me. I like Black Mirror at its darkest.

That said, really enjoyed 1 + 2 as well. Hated episode 5 and and was disappointed with 6. Think it should have stayed as a 3-4 episode series. Expanding it to 6 didn't really work for me.

Didn’t see this thread before but I didn’t care much for San Junipero either. I thought it was ok but the way everyone raves about it I expected it to be better.

Are these all individual as I have only just started watching season one. Could I watch seasons 3 and 4 first then go back to the early ones

Am currently watching USS CALLISTER and having a NERDGASM.

I'm a die hard Trekkie so this is hitting all my nerdspots.

I liked some aspects of USS Callister but a major concept on which much of the plot hangs was completely unscientific and illogical, and I found it difficult to suspend disbelief quite that far.

As Jacob Oller points out in his review in Paste, "the fewer questions asked during its runtime, the better the plot goes down".

I’ve watched the first 3. Enjoyed USS Callister more than I thought I would from the trailer. Arkangel is the first episode I’ve managed to guess a lot of. The end of Crocodile is sad.

I want to say more but will avoid spoilers for now!

Just watched Arkangel; found it very stressful! DS1 pointed out that some of the tech interface in Arkangel was v.similar to a previous episode (The Entire History of You).

I didn't like san junipero either. Found it very dull. Have watched 3 episodes of series 4 today. Each one good. Especially number 3. Omg.

BLACK MIRROR DISCUSSION WITH SPOILERS

I created a spoilers thread for anyone who wants to rave about it like a mad person.

Hated in the Nation and San Junipero are my favourite episodes so far... I'm on S4 now, the first episode is messed up but I feel sad for him though.

Crocodile was bloody brilliant.

Also enjoyed 'Hang the DJ'

I never got round to watching S3 so just started last night - though Nosedive was a bit predictable but Playtest was interesting (although looked up some articles on it last night and found some of the commentary a bit strange). Looking forward to working my way through the rest of S3 and S4.

I think White Christmas is the best episode I've seen so far, but saw it when it was on tv so it was a while ago
