My dh and I are recovering from flu so we've spent the two days on the sofa watching Modern Family. Only on series 1 episode 7 but Cam has cheered me up soooooooo much

I love him! I had a break from watching it during which I had my DS who we named Cam.

We liked the name but we knew no one called Cam. It was only when I started watching it again that I put two and two together.

We watched all the series a few months ago. They kept me sane with my newborn dd but then were so funny I decided to wait to watch them at night with dh. Am ridiculously excited about series 8. Enjoy OP.

I found him very manipulative in the early seasons. Always offended.

I love Cam, my favourite is Phil though. Love how he always manages to get a llama somehow.

I love Cam too. Also I known I shouldn't be shallow but it's fascinating to watch how much Gloria and Claire change via the medium of interventions throughout the years. Series 1 Gloria is breathtaking.

I love this programme! I think my favourite character is Phil though, mostly because he reminds me a bit of DH (if crossed with Ron Swanson - not as creepy as it sounds!).

I am a late comer to MF, but adore it - watching series 8 here, but they keep missing weeks or interspersing it with old episodes at random times

I like Claire and Gloria. And laugh at how little Haley and Alex are - clearly cast as adults who were small enough to pass for teenagers, and are now too short for their show age

Oh it's such a brilliant series!! It went a bit off season 7 imo a bit "characature" ish. However having seen some of the new season it appears to be back on track.

My favourite episode is the one does entirely on Claire's laptop.

I LOVE the episode on Claires laptop!

Also the Vegas episode.

The one with Stephen Merchant in? It was brill!
