Anyone watching on Netflix? It's brilliant. They only have 1-5 on there though, anyone know where 6 can be seen?

Watched 2 seasons in a week this week. Love it- i was gutted when it ended here so glad i can re live it in a way. I love how the first season kinda followed how the British one was but also went in its own direction.

Still not as good as the original though.

Not sure where they are up to in the states though- if S6 has just finished there we may have to wait a while

They are in series 7 in the US so hopefully not too long! Shameless UK got shit after a few series though I agree the first 2-3 were better than the US one.
Ian and mickey in the US are gorgeous whereas UK not so much...

I've just started re-watching the UK one on the 4 catchup channel because I used to really fancy Shane Maguire, then realised he's not even it it until series 4!!

• does the US one have the same storylines etc or is like a completely different show just with the same characters names? I can't get Netflix atm, but I might give it a go.

Yay! I prefer the us version. Can't wait for the new season, it usually comes out in January.

Shameless US is so much better than the U.K. Version. I think it's the only American remake that I can say that about but it's pure brilliance.

Please don't spoil it! I'm only up to season 5. Where are you guys watching 6 and 7?

I love watched all the ones on Netflix. I think the original shameless started getting very outlandish and playing for laughs towards the end. The us version seems darker at times. I've cried more at the us version than I did at the UK version.

I hope Netflix put series 6 on soon.

Season 7 has now finished and Emmy Rossum has buried the hatchet with Showtime so looks like we've got a Season 8 yay
