I thought I would start a new thread as the first one is finally almost full.

The first woman on the panel looks like Richard E. Grant.

I might have join this thread. Because they a) ruined gin, the heathens, and b) I can't wait for their business plans and CVs to be torn to shreds!

Trishna deserved to go. She claimed to have merely suggested the colouring why even suggest it?!. Everyone saw she was adamant about the colouring, apart from her.

I can't abide Courtney. He is fucking useless and being project manager seems to give him a totally misguided power trip.

Grainne has been great apart from the last two weeks. Very disappointing.

I was pronouncing it in my head as sure rah lan.

Disappointed Trishna went. I have decided I don't like anyone.

However I'm considering an undercut like Grainne's.

I just don't like Francis, I think it came across on You're Fired that no one thought that much of her and thought she was a game player. Right from the first episode I said that on the previous thread... . I would not trust her an inch, I think she's a backstabber.

She showed that the week Paul was fired

Frances is called a smiling assassin in our house.

Late to thread but been watching. Dreadful contestants this year, nobody standing out as a possible or deserving winner

But plenty gobby (karthik grainne and sofiane) or weak (Courtney - somebody please buy that man a personality I keep having to be reminded he's there and his name! Aleksandra)

Don't think any of the candidates stand out at all this year ! Similar to the British Bake Off.

I second the PP who said Alana to win. All depends on those business plans, though...

Frances really grates on me. She does something well on a task (fair enough) but will then immediately go on about how brilliant she is. Couldn't work with someone like that.

Cannot wait for the interviews - always the most telling episode IMO.

I'm not even sure who Alana is despite there being only 5 of them left (and one of those five i could assume isn't called Alana). Think this fact gives the overall impression of the impact this year's lot have made.

I only recall Grainne's name because everyone says it wrong.

I've been over invested in mn speak. When Trishna & Frances were in the taxi & Trishna was expounding rather aggressively Groinya's upcoming pitch performance. I shouted out at the telly " Frances has become Trishna's flying monkey" . My Dh gave me that special drawn out sidelong glance he's known for when we confuse him.

I cannot believe how awful the contestants have been this year.
I don't want any of them to win at the moment!
The business plans will be interesting to see (clinging to hope here), but I'm not rooting for anyone.

I think Alana will win because Alana is not her real name, but she adopted it because it's the female version of Lord Sugar's and she has won favour on that basis. I could be wrong, but I've given up on trying to come up with a business reason why any of the remaining contestants should win!

Courtney's survived this far primarily through luck. If he'd been on more losing teams he would have ended up in the bottom three for his crap presentations and would almost certainly have been fired. It's not as if he contributed that much to the victories, either.

Courtney is an utter drip. I haven't seen anything from him that shows any talent.

I think she's probably the only contestant who deserves to come even within a sniff of winning. The 'Colony Gin' team should have been sacked for that name, every one of them.

I thought that the Colony Gin team had a good basic idea - spices from around the world, exotic travel, using an old map of the world as the background for the label etc - but it was very badly interpreted, and the final product and name were very poorly thought through.

I completely agree about Courtney - he seems pretty useless to me.

I agree 're the fun. It would have been a nice flavour, and maybe having a slight natural colour or a big bit of Orange oeel and some spices in the bottle would be nice. They seem to have no idea. I really hope Courtney doesn't win. He's useless. Isn't he shagging someone in the house too?

I was watching the programme about the finalists and think Alana might be in with a chance. Jessica is way too hyper and think Frances is more likely to Karate chop you in the back rather than stab you.
