It was interesting that they had footage from the early days still and I would like to have known more about how the children turned out as they seemed very different from each other - some obviously coping better than others in adult life which might be because of genetic differences never mind anything else. How the ex leader could convince the authorities in NZ she had given birth to triplets registering first twins and later correcting it to triplets (when she only ever had one child) is amazing. They must have been very lax over there in those days.
Sadly it reminds us of institutional abuse across the planet too - when those in high places - university professor, psychiatrists, well connected etc there give a cover to this kind of thing (I think of scientologists too never mind Jimmy Saville ) it makes it hearder for children and those with little money to get authorities interested.
