What's a good series we'd all enjoy? (ages 11-45)

Two DDs aged 11 and 13. Love The Middle, Modern Family, Friends etc but are stuck watching mostly reality sh*te at the moment. What should we look out for/catch up on?

Our go to if there is nothing on is a Columbo movie but my DC are older and that's mainly DH and I , they are dated but I like the fact that they are not violent .
