sooooo, i finally have an idea whats going on

its obviously some sort of medical research place researching wombs/babies/reproduction

thats why they tried to take the aussie ladies baby,

but whats that got to do wth the weird smoke or the guy being tortured with video in that room

actully, thinking about it nothing is any clearer

At the end, I was thinking along the lines that this company has the power to make anything happen - including plane crashes....

As soon as she said hit by a bus I knew it would happen. And to have kept her prisoner for 3 years............. Obviously Jack is her replacement!

But nobody could return to normal society after that.. so will she really be let go?? or will they tell everyone she's gone and put her in one of the mind altering cells?

also, if she's been there to help reproduction how come there are no babies?

Any I still want to know who the other guy is that I asked about months ago but he hasn't been mentioned again since, Jacob was it? I thought he might be the man in the patch who was obviously watching them when the blonde woman turned on the other tv's in the hatch... I have a horrrible feeling it's going to end with no real explanation and I will feel short changed and frustrated that I wasted hours and days of my life on this... lol

As far as I can see, Desmond DID travel back in time. His "flashback" was different from normal flashbacks. I have heard the theory that everyone who has a flashback is travelling back in time but Desmond is the first to realise it and participate in it.

The episode surely tells us that it was pre-destined that all of the inhabitants were going to end up on the island, and that the tail-section was not supposed to survive. Cindy is the only one left, and lord knows what has happened to her.

I'm afraid lost is going the way of Twin Peaks. I watch all of Twin Peaks in the vague hope it might make sense by the end.

But I was cheered up when Laura Palmer appeared in Twin Peaks - surely the actress might want to play a live character at some point?

Anyway, I digress. As lost develops it is getting more and more absurd. I am convinced that the writers have lost their way (pun intended.)

I know that guys is called David Hume but David is Desmonds middle name (the old lady in the ring shop said it)
