I didn't watch the end of this but I did get annoyed at they way Stan kept repeatedly commenting on how the jurors should only consider the factual evidence.
In real life we meet people all of the time and make judgements about whether or not they are telling us the truth. We use our knowledge of behaviour and body language, voice, facial expression etc. We may not be aware of it, we may process it subconciously, but we do do it. I really think that the way in which a witness, defendent or victim, responds when questioned in court is as much evidence as any medical reports or witness statements. If we do not use our own understanding of how humans behave when acting as jurors then how can we possibly be doing our job? It would result in it being even more difficult thanit is to get a conviction in a rape trial.
