dexter- just started watching. at which point should we finish?

i read the ending was disappointing,, open ended, and the first season was the best.

if you saw it when would you advise quitting?
enjoying so far.

Series 1 2 4 and 5 are awesome. 3 is awful and 6 7 8 are meh. The ending is possibility the worst ending to a TV series I have ever seen - I was so disappointed in it

I recommend you watch all of it

Yes, it sags a bit at times but I enjoyed it all the way through

I never finish anything.

I watched all of Breaking Bad except the last episode.
Gave up on TWD last season.
Watched quite a few series of GOT then abandoned it.
Watched AHS up until hotel...just didn't watch the very last episode.

Season four is the best, but I'd watch the lot, purely so you can have the experience of the terrible ending.

Watch until the end of season 4 and then forget it ever existed.

Season 3 is very underrated.

Watch it all. Some series are better than others but I enjoyed them all.

Last ever episode is not great. Esp last 20 mins. Rest is good.

All of it, even though s3 was not as good as the rest, it was still good and worth watching.

Season 4 was amazing. The best by far.

Well I enjoyed all of it except the season with Tom Hanks's son as the religious nut. I loved the ending too.

I watched it all until the last season as it was getting pretty unbelievable towards the end IMO. First 4 series are great tho! ( Six Feet Under was good too...)

And, fun fact, the actor who played Dexter is now in a musical about David Bowie in London!

See I liked the one with Tom hanks' son. Not the best but I liked the 'twist'. Watching it a second time the twist is clearer!

The first two seasons are IMMENSE

It then slowly goes off the boil and becomes farcical and I gave up at season 6

I loved it all...and am still in mourning that it's over! So much so we got a rabbit and called him dexter!!

We watched it all but we are massive fans .I still think the credits are the best of any show xx
