Sky signal quality poor today - anyone else ?

Can't get Sky channels and our signal quality (we're in South East) is really low, strength fine. Is it just the weather or are we going have to tweak the dish ?

Have you got snow?
We've had to go up and clear snow off our dish in the past to get our signal back.

No, it's raining now but we had snow on Thursday and it has been really cold so perhaps it is iced up ? Good thought , we've had tot de-snow in the past.

Hmmmm, it could be iced up.
Although ours goes off if its bad rain. Also wind does it too.

doesn't seem to be frozen up or blocked with any debris and giving it a prod has made no difference.

Has it sorted itself out now?

Rain stopped , still nothing

The only other thing that we do is unplug it and take your card out, leave for 5 mins and then plug it back in and put the card in when it asks.
That always sorts it out when it goes a bit haywire.

Dh says they just over power (whatever that means).
It always works, so its worth bearing it in mind incase it goes again.
