southeastastra · 09/02/2007 21:04

oh i loved that film! cool rider

deaconblue · 09/02/2007 21:05

But it was wonderful when it came out. I loved Michelle Pfeiffer and that bloke from the Colbys.

PersonalClown · 09/02/2007 21:06

See I'm sad enough to have the double editon of Grease 1+2 on dvd.

PersonalClown · 09/02/2007 21:06

I started singing 'Who's that guy?' every time he appeared in Casualty!!

southeastastra · 09/02/2007 21:06

maxwell caulfield, i loved him too, the shame!

deaconblue · 09/02/2007 21:08

There's no shame in that. We could start a fan club I loved Dex Dexter from the Colbys too

Hulababy · 09/02/2007 21:08

Isn't that the whole pointe of Grease 2? It's so bad it just has to be cool! LOL. Hadn't realised it was on today.

southeastastra · 09/02/2007 21:09

but it wasn't bad when it came out, didn't they sing in a nuclear bunker? is it on now?

Hulababy · 09/02/2007 21:10

Yes, the bunker - all about let's o it for our country, etc.

And the reproduction song too.

gothicmama · 09/02/2007 21:10

gothicmama · 09/02/2007 21:11

bunker bit now

southeastastra · 09/02/2007 21:11

ah they're in the shelter now! i liked him too

BrownieBells · 09/02/2007 21:11

Yes they did - and yes it is - Sky One! And the "Let's Do it for Our Country" in the nuclear shelter is on NOW!!!!

colditz · 09/02/2007 21:12

Oh God it's bad. I can't find the remote.

southeastastra · 09/02/2007 21:14

i think you have to be a certain age to really appreciate it!

Katymac · 09/02/2007 21:15

A certain age...you mean 7?

OP posts:
southeastastra · 09/02/2007 21:16

ha no but i'm 37, so i was 13 when it came out, very impressionable film at that age

MerlinsBeard · 09/02/2007 21:23

i love that film but DP watching some chinese subtitled swordfight instead so am MNing!!

nikkie · 09/02/2007 21:42

Is it sad that I regonised him on casulalty straight away

Eddas · 12/02/2007 22:45

Surely the whole point is that it's a bit tacky? I have to admit I do love all the classic musical garb, Grease, Dirty Dancing, etc. Think you either love it or hate it. I'd imagine if it's the first time you've seen it and you are how old?(not saying your old but above 16 say) then it would look crap. My dh tried to get my to watch labarinth(terrible sp?!) and it was just rubbish, he loves it though as watched it as a child

serenity · 12/02/2007 22:53

It is dire, but in a good way

My younger brother and sister were obsessed with it when they were little, and I was forced to watch it more times than I care to remember. I can still sing most of the songs and it has to be at least 15 years since I last watched it!
