Anyone watching Occupied on Netflix

I have recently watched 7 episodes of a Norwegian drama called Occupied. It is about a Russian occupation of Norwegian due to oil production. It is well worth watching and it seems to be heading towards danger. am really enjoying it so far and find the scenarios pretty realistic plus it's interesting to see more of Scandinavian culture.

Is anyone else watching?

I got recommended "Offspring" (an Aussie drama) on here but finding it far too fluffy

I'm enjoying it, I'm on episode 3.

This doesn't have quite the darkness of some of the other Scandi dramas I've watched previously but it is very well done.

I watched it on one of the Sky channels and cannot wait for the second series. It raised so many good questions.

I've finished the whole series now and cannot wait to see the next which apparently is due out for ages. I want to know what the PM does, if the USA will get involved, what happens to the Journalist's wife (Bente?)

I have so many questions, too. Have you seen the news article that Sweden might be the first carbon-neutral or fossil-free (?) country? With no oil reserves it is not the same, but I straight away thought about Occupied.

The storyline involving the head of the security services was so clever.

On ep1 right now, have some ironing so that keeps me entertained.
Tried Bloodline to start with but didn't like it much.

Old thread but I'm bumping as I have just watched the full 10 eps of series 1 on Sky Box sets and loved it.

I am quite a fan of European tv series anyway and loved Midnight Sun too but Occupied was quite different. Hopefully we'll see a second series with Jesper Berg getting to do a bit more than mope around in his office. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a political drama in the style of Homeland, like it used to be in the first series!
