& I surprisingly liked it. Very interesting storyline & such good cast.

We enjoyed it. Some great lines and references to other series.

Yes! Loved it. Brilliant storyline by Patrick Ness.

For those who have watched it, what age is it suitable for? My children (aged between 12 and 16) are all Doctor Who fans.

Fine for teens.

It's a bit gory, iPlayer does come up with a warning about violence and upsetting scenes, and asked if we were over 16. Much closer to Torchwood than Sarah Jane Adventures, though without the sex.

I do wonder sometimes why violence is acceptable on TV for teens, but sex isn't...

Thank you for the warning RustyBear the 14 year old is quite sensitive so I'll watch it myself first.

It felt a bit American with the teens looking 25 but I enjoyed it.

Yes they were old weren't they. Especially since one was supposed to be ahead!

found the first episode frustrating to begin with as I felt it was pandering too much to US audiences (references to Downton Abbey and the Queen; explanations about sixth formers not wearing uniform) but it grew on me. Patrick Ness is a good writer and there were some great lines.
