I don't know him

Raahh · 16/11/2016 14:08

Raahh · 16/11/2016 14:08

Raahh · 16/11/2016 14:09

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 16/11/2016 14:11

Just googled - he was in waterloo road one of the best TV series ever

Raahh · 16/11/2016 14:11

Do you think Jiimmi's church group will do a Nativity play. That would be great, and very WTF.

Raahh · 16/11/2016 14:11

Waterloo Road was great- and one of my guilty pleasures- until it moved to Scotland. It went a bit pear shaped then.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 16/11/2016 14:13

The bus crash in the lay-by on the Scottish border was awesomely bad though

Raahh · 16/11/2016 14:14

Oh blimey, yes, the bus crash! it made no sense at all!Grin

blamethecat · 16/11/2016 14:21

What happened to the other students? They were half way through the role play !

cinnamongreyhound · 16/11/2016 16:53

He was also Luke in the Sarah Jane chronicles, never watched Waterloo road.

Good old sid Smile

blamethecat · 17/11/2016 14:16

Another far to serious for lunchtime one. as usual I missed the start, who is Shaz ?

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 17/11/2016 16:26

They seem to be ticking off a serious issue every episode now - I'm just waiting for the disabled refugee on benefits with a transgender child.

toldmywraath · 18/11/2016 09:53

Its yup just what I thought - will that plot line involve the bedroom tax as well I wonder? Be careful what we wish for! Grin plot developers might be lurking.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 18/11/2016 14:08

Ooh, I think today's plot is actually quite good...

redshoeblueshoe · 18/11/2016 14:10

That was a good twist

redshoeblueshoe · 18/11/2016 14:53

I had to laugh when Al said to Sid come and see me if you need any help when it was Sid who actually helped Al.

onelastpigout · 18/11/2016 20:53

Doctors is going through one of it's preachy, moralistic 'lets educate the public' phases.
Frankly, It all getting a bit cringey.

They think they're raising awareness of certain topics, but they go into overkill - their storylines are very often hugely exaggerated and because topics are exaggerated, instead of raising awareness, they could be doing more harm than good.
It's giving the public a false impression of how things really are.
It's hugely irresponsible on their part.

I and I'm sure other viewers will switch back on when (and if) it gets back to normal.

They need to stop trying to be so moralistic, preachy and get back to good storylines.
No wonder they hardly win any awards.

I'm usually a huge Doctors fan, but not at the moment.

onelastpigout · 18/11/2016 20:53

I think they must have a tick list.

onelastpigout · 18/11/2016 20:58

They seem to be ticking off a serious issue every episode now - I'm just waiting for the disabled refugee on benefits with a transgender child.

They try so hard, bless them.
In the meantime they're terribly ageist. They always portrary older people as being very doddery - as if they have all had lobotomies.
They could do with working on that instead of all the popular causes.

Better still, stop trying to prove a point and give us good stories.

I don't know where they get their writers from.
