Anyone watching the second series? Loved the first series and this is shaping up to be equally as good!

I can't believe the girls haven't gone back to the beach houses their mum was building.

I don't think the girls know about them do they - I got the impression they were a surprise and the mum died before she got to tell them? Joy and Wilda were always vague about what she was working on in the first programme of the second series.

I loved the first series and am really glad it's back. There are so many good characters who are multi-faceted and ambiguous - so good to get away from the 'good v evil characters' which are so common in dramas!

Yes the letters she wrote to the girls got put away in a box in a shed.

I was wondering about Chan too. Did he die? I watched the first series so long ago i can't really remember.

I re watched the first series the other week. Can was unhurt by the tsunami and made up with joy and wild as mum to help search for the kids. I guess maybe because joy and pong aren't together anymore maybe he isn't in it at the moment .

Imo It's possibly better than the first!

I ordered both box sets for my dad for Xmas, they've arrived, do you think l would be unreasonable to open it and watch the last episode instead of waiting until next week?

Have just seen the last episode of the second series - totally agree that it's great to see characters who are not just good or bad. Majlis did the right thing in the end for Teng, and the girls' dad turned out OK too. I love the relationship between Oh and Glenn too. Even Johann wasn't as awful as I'd originally thought he might be.

Anyone know if they're making another series?
