I've watched the Bridge and 1st series of Homeland (didn't get on with the next series) and very much enjoyed Lillehammer.

Not watched any of those but loved Lillyhammer.

I'm going to try Lillyhammer again after trying and failing to get through the first episode twice. I just couldn't get past the main character being able to understand a lot of Norwegian from the off. Couldn't take it seriously at all after that....

I thought it was excellent and was quite sad theyre not making any more.

I love Lillyhammer, funny and well acted and just different in lots of good ways to all the usual offerings.

I'm halfway through the second series, it's a bit like Breaking Bad in that I've realised all the characters other than Torveir (?) are utterly vile: racist, mysogynistic, creepy and horrible. I quite liked Johnny to begin with but he is a pig. Perhaps I was meant to think this from the start (slow)
