although slightly enjoyed the family dynamics going on last night, unfortunately DD's favourite programme and in fact Guardian seems to recommend it^

Sorry to hear about DH's job ice. Hope something else comes along very soon.

Despite my limited exposure to Episode 1 think I might know the line you are thinking of ice and if not then I've heard something else that's highly "appr'priate" for all of us. I have to go out in a minute - I usually have to watch Bake Off on catch up after 9pm but have reiterated to DD that she is to march on the double on her way out to the car park tonight - unfortunately the little tyke knows why I am insisting and is probably going to push her luck and make me wait out that bit longer. Still I'm sure I can find a way to get my revenge in some sort of covert operation later this week - do hope I can get some tips from Elvis or might that be just a little extreme?

Sorry to hear about DH's job Ice.

Have a feeling the youngest is going to be a pain this evening, so planning on giving him his bottle and then letting him sleep on me, and try putting him in his cot after OG.

As expected DH is doing his well-practised impersonation of being an utter bell end saying he wants to watch the Paralympics, so I've had a diva hissy fit and flounced off to DSs bedroom on the premis of watching GBBO in peace with just my own company. I may have over-reacted a little by slamming two doors and stamping my feet so much for nonchalantly mentioning MK was on at 9pm

However, I have every intention of holing up in here til after 10pm. And it's bad luck on any little bleeder who wants to go to bed before then, humph! Angry

Sorry to hear that news ice. Hopefully there'll be some positive outcome soon if he has interviews lined up.

I've had wine which I rarely do through the week and am now very worried in case I doze off which is my usual habit when wine + television are involved. I will not snooze, I will not doze off.

It's so lovely to see some of our old pals returning. It's almost like an old school reunion!

Like woof, I am going to disappear off to the loo etc and lock the door so that nothing, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, disturbs my viewing.

Are we reconvening at 10 pm?
