What to watch after Gilmore Girls (with 11 year old dd).

We've just finished Gilmore Girls and are both bereft.

Want to get into something else.

I'm thinking Buffy when she's about 13 but what now?

If you can help to fill the void, I'd be most grateful. Smile

So, we've started Dawson's Creek and Party of Five.

Sorry, don't have any suggestions but weirdly I finished GG today too! Can't wait for new episodes!!

November 25th Curious - there's a trailer. A glorious wintery trailer. They don't look a day older.

Ella where are you watching Dawsons Creek? I have an urge to watch it again!

RingUpRingRingDown · 06/09/2016 22:48

Parenthood, although it's confusing to see Lorelei as someone else. Much as I love GG and her character, she's a much better actor in Parenthood!

RingUp - Parenthood looks great. How on earth have I not heard of it?

Will start tomorrow night.

Ladybird - not sure how I got Dawson's Creek. I asked dh to set up the first episode and he did. While dd really enjoyed it, she hasn't asked to watch it again.

It is great! I actually watched all of Parenthood first then found Gilmore Girls in a desperate attempt to find something vaguely similar to fill the void.

dylsmimi · 07/09/2016 22:07

Just rewatch Gilmore girls again!! Grin

gemdrop84 · 08/09/2016 16:43

Once Upon A Time!!

HeyMacWey · 08/09/2016 16:44

We've gone retro and are currently watching friends.

ThisIslandGirl · 08/09/2016 16:48

I second Once Upon A Time!

EllaHen · 08/09/2016 17:58

Thanks for the recommendations.

Dylsmini - I will definitely watch Gilmore Girls again. Will be third time for me. Smile

HeyMacwey - I considered Friends. May well do that.

Gemdrop84 and ThisIslandGirl - I started Once Upon A Time when it first came on Channel 5. Can't remember why I didn't get into it. Probably just because it was weekly and I'd evolved into a binge watcher by then. Wink Will give it another go.

Right, just waiting for dd to get home from her friend's house so that we can crack on with Parenthood.
