Don't get me wrong, I have no objections to women doing what they need to do to survive. I just think Sam is downplaying her role in "the industry".

I know some women who got into hostessing back in the 80s, hell I nearly did! (They inevitably ended up working in dodgy saunas!) They still talk about the innocent days of hostessing in clubs.

It was never innocent, they persuaded punters to buy over priced champagne and despite their protestations they did have sex with "clients". They now express outrage at the way young women have sex on tv but fail to see if they'd been born 30 years later that would be them.
