Angel - what's happened in the end?

I have no idea? I followed it up until the bit where cordy had the baby/woman and was in a coma and everyone hated angel. but then missed it and haven't watched it since.

did he fulfill the phrophecy (ie becomin human?) what was wolf harts plan for him? I know i'm sad! lol.

Unfortunatley no satisfactory answers were given as the show was cancelled with short notice.
Angel did not fulfil the prophecy. Cordelia never woke up from the coma, and basically it ended on a massive rubbish cligghanger. I could rant indefinately.
I know I sound odd, but I LOVED buffy and Angel and was very disappointed by how the both ended.
(Very sad as I am 31).

lol. well exactly! lol - was there only 4 series then of angel? why did they cancel the show - I saw buffy - would have been nice for them to meet up again later on - but I guess that's a bit romantical! lol.

I like the end of Buffy.

Angel finished with them tipping the scales of good and evil, and pretty much all the evil in the world comin at em as they ran towards them yelling and waving swords.

They were frantically trying to get the show continued which is why it was a cliffhanger ending and not your normal Joss winding everything up ending.

He did turn into a muppet, though, that was good.

Yeah, Angel really sucked near the end. I think everything after the plot about the god-type creature was a letdown, tbh.

I think they only found out partway through the last series that it was being cancelled, and genuinely didn't have enough eps to build up a Big Bad for the finale.

I've got it in my head it was from about the muppet ep onwards that they found out. I wonder if they had planned to draw out Lindsay for longer and have him as the big bad?

The muppet one has to be one of the biggest strokes of genius ever
