I stopped watching X Factor because of the way they put through hopeless acts and pretended they were good to keep people watching, so didn't see Rylan's series. I see that Rylan was used as that year's stooge.

What did the other acts think of him? Who won that year? Anyone who I would know? (Probably not!)

I did think it was funny that in one of the clips the female judge who isn't Nicole kept calling him Ryland.

Rylan really wanted fame. He went on a programme with Katie Price too. SHe was going to make someone a star or some such thing!

Who knew Rylan would turn out to be such a lovely guy? He talked about what an awful presenter he was at first, he's determined I'll give him that.

I absolutely love Rylan. I would prefer him presenting the main programme, I don't really like Emma.

He is such a genuinely nice guy, I am delighted to see that things worked out well for him. And he is co-presenting Xtra Factor this year. I'm so happy!

I love Rylan too, now that he has grown in confidence in the role. When he started he was awful, constantly scared to upset the BB party line, saying "we'll talk about that later" whenever anyone said anything which drifted from the BB script.

I dislike Scary Eyes immensely. How she ever got the career she has amazes me. She cannot present or interview, and yet has several jobs doing this (badly). She also comes across as being very false, not at all genuine like Rylan. She must know where the bodies are buried.

I really like Emma - think she's beautiful & seems good fun & normal. (I also love Davina which I know isn't too popular on MN either )

Yes , we've not had a "We'll talk about that later" for ages have we ? He was dire when he first took over , absolutely dire . Once they dropped the girl ( AJ ??) Rylan got so much better .

Why did they sack Brian Dowling?

I think because Brian wasn't good unfortunately Songbird - I loved him as a housemate but he was so unnatural as the host & Emma was there on BOTS just waiting for the main job! I do wish they'd given him more time though or let him do BOTS instead.
