I'm watching This Morning and apparently Spencer Matthews is going to be joining the Royal Family by marrying Pippa Middleton.
This annoyed me, Pippa is not a member of the Royal Family ffs! Why can't This Morning at least get that bit right?

I'm no royalist but come on, he'd be joining them if he was marrying Princess Beatrice or Eugenie but not Pippa MIDDLETON!

No James would only be Kate's BIL not William's.

Pippi is his SIL. James will be his BIL. If you're so sure he won't be, what relationship will it be?

You can call them in laws but apparently they aren't really.

So I have a BIL by marriage to DH but BIL partner isn't an in law to me. I prefer thinking they are.

I refer to SILs husband as my BIL. Not sure if that's technically correct, but calling him "my sister in laws husband" seems unnecessarily long winded.

My brothers, wife - will not be my DP's sister-in-law, when we get married. She will only be mine.

No less a part of our extend family of course but she will not technically be my DP's, SIL.

My OH has two sisters, one is married. When I marry my OH his two sisters will be my sisters inlaw, the one husband will simply be my sister inlaw's husband, not my brother in law. That's the way I always saw it, however he is already known as my children's uncle (I think?) it is mind-boggling though lol.
