Desperate Housewives a question

Who is the actress who plays Nora, mother of Toms child from before he was married to Lynette, and has she been in other programmes/films only she's really familiar and I can't place her and it's starting to really bother me.

It's this woman , whose name doesn't ring a bell, and even looking at the credits, I can't work out where I know her from either.

Hmm, she was in the film 13 going on 30 and I've seen that, but I can't think which character it was that she played. I haven't seen any of the other films/programmes she's been in so it must be from that. Will have to watch out for that film when it's next on Sky and watch it to see who she plays.
