I missed the bit between them in the traffic jam and the kids wandering off on their own. I assume the mum was kidnapped by the flower man. What happened? I saw the rest.

a big truck pulled up,she disappeared and the flower man scarpered immediately after,he was obviously involved.

Found the children's disappearance quite harrowing,I hate watching stuff like that.
