i cant believe this but i forgot the sky+ the 2nd part last night, can anyone tell me what happened?

oh, God, it was horrendously complicated. In brief, Lisa was Catherine's daughter and Catherine and the bloke were murdered by the Alderman. She shot him, at his behest. There was a deliberately confusing sub-plot about the Irish cop, who turned out to be bent, and some gold bullion, and also Peter Capaldi having a parent-fixation on Boyd and Grace. He ended up dead, shot by Bent Irish Cop, who had just had his throat cut by Pter Capaldi.

Has anyone else been watching the case files thing after the programme (press red etc)? They're good. But the music is just completely terrifying, both on the programme, and they use a kind of muffled version of it in the run up to the case files.
