It stopped raining here and has turned out hot and humid...

I just tried to work and clicked on a file, andmy laptop flung up the message that the file was malicious and if I opened it then someone could take over my computer And I should contact the original sender. Um. It's the file that I was working on yesterday and saved onto a memory stick to work on the laptop today.

Where did those messages come from?
