What has happened to Cleo?

She and 'The Others' were discussing putting Shilpa's knickers in Dirk's bed.

Is she jealous that Dirk prefers Shilpa's company, not hers?

She must have had Botox as her face reminds me of that character in Batman....The Joker!

I like Dirk...please leave him alone.

I only just saw last nights & was so appalled I had to get on here, Dirk is completely lovely, Cleo must be deranged. She looks like one type of person & acts like another altogether & it seems Dirk is the only one to have noticed.

Her comment about him thinking women fancy him is hardly realistic, he has been v modest when serious but is pretty much as gorgeous as he was in his 20's & that is some achievement.

jenkel · 22/01/2007 16:37

Agree with all this, I really liked Cleo to start with and thought she was a sure bet to win, but the way she treated Dirk was horrible, and also surprised that she wouldnt stand up for Shilpa at all. Jermayne, Ian and Dirk all did a little.

moosh · 22/01/2007 17:38

Leave Dirk alone Cleo. I had to turn over last night when watching it. There have been too many toe curling incideny=ts this year.
It just seems that when someone is bored in there, they start to bully somebody else.
that Jo from S-Club seems to get a kick out of making other people feel uncomfortable.
Stopped liking Cleo as soon as she voted Shilpa, she seemed to comfort her one minute and then go gossiping the next and last night was the icing on the cake for me.
I'll say it once more, leave Dirk alone, I love to watch him skip in the morning, I think its great that he can do that , not many men young or old can keep as fit as that.

Mercy · 22/01/2007 17:44

I like Dirk too.

Had no idea he was 62!

(and what terrible thing to have happened in his family)

Mercy · 22/01/2007 17:48

And I like Jermaine's voice

JoolsToo · 22/01/2007 17:58

can you believe that Cleo is in the diary room telling BB that 'Dirk is about to crack but not in a good way and we need to play on that' (not all in the same sentence but that was the gist)

what does BB say?

zilch

brandy7 · 22/01/2007 18:56

dirk is lovely, thought he was out of order with the cigar smoking but may have been a case of "you pissed me off so im gona piss you off", bit childish but i wo9uld have done the same

beansprout · 22/01/2007 18:58

I love Dirk. He's just too old for all their nonsense.

Cleo is just ridiculous. Putting a wig on and acting like a prat, isn't having a "character", it's just putting a wig on and acting like a prat.

dotcotton · 22/01/2007 20:23

So did anyone find out about whether those witches know about Dirk? I need to know so that i can adjust my hate-o-meter before watching the show.

JoolsToo · 22/01/2007 20:32

I asked dot - no-one responded!

Earlybird · 22/01/2007 22:11

Anyone else find it very odd how Cleo referred to her flirtatious character in the third person? Almost like "she" is one of multiple personalities....

It was very clear from comments in the diary room that Cleo doesn't think she did anything wrong/went too far. She completely blames Dirk for having "no sense of humour" and for failing to respond to her attempts to "lighten the mood" in the house. It's fascinating how minds work - why hasn't it occured to her that perhaps her flirting/teasing upset him?

JoolsToo · 22/01/2007 22:18

she's odd.

Blu · 22/01/2007 22:26

Sorry, I must have become carried away...my inner-tabloid journalist was getting a little out of hand. But he did put his hand on the top of her thing that was protruding.

I see BB did their welfare chat tonight and asked if he was ok, and should they talk to Cleo.

I like dirk too - he made me laugh when he said 'oh that lucky something' when Shilpa complained that something was biting her.

His accent and whole way of speaking and his sort of relaxed drawly intonation remind me of someone I had a long affair with. (not an infidelity sort of affair)

Blu · 22/01/2007 22:26

Thong!
I mean her thong that was protruding!

pointydog · 22/01/2007 22:40

I thought you meant she had a sticky-out fanjo, blu.

Blu · 22/01/2007 22:47

snort

Aloha · 22/01/2007 22:50

Blu!! What are you doing! This is a Big Brother thread and I put it to you that you have been watching the aforesaid Big Brother. Has it come to this? This is the sort of crap that I watch, and even I've been watching Waking The Dead instead. Tsk tsk!

JoolsToo · 22/01/2007 23:09

Aitch did you see tonight's highlights show?

Cleo's 'comedy' act. The 'shot in the head' scenario and pointing out the wound?

fishy?

AitchTwoOh · 22/01/2007 23:10

didn't see it... what are you thoughts? do you think she knows?

It looked dodgy to me - Cleo's face froze when her act was shown on the screen.

But that could have been her cringing because she was so mortified to have been officially unfunny - and i could have been reading too much into it because Aitch has poisoned my mind .

Is it significant that BB asked Dirk if he was ok again in the diary room? Like they'd expect him to be ruffled by the "comedy".

JoolsToo · 22/01/2007 23:20

could be coincidence

JoolsToo · 22/01/2007 23:21

I sent them an email I think that's why they asked him if he was ok

It was embarrassing watching Cleo, embarrassing watching her watching it and embarrassing watching the others watching.

However, it was hilarious afterwards when Jermaine and Dirk were discussing her failure to make BB laugh!

AitchTwoOh · 22/01/2007 23:24

Huzzah! Another mind poisoned...
