Well I used to be a mental health nurse and Marco is exactly like the young boys who used to be admired with various disorders.

ledkr I agree that the strangulation thing need never have been shown. What a stupid thing to do. By airing it and giving Marco and Laura the attention they're after, they're almost condoning it and setting the bar even lower for next year's show. Just made me feel really uncomfortable, esp. as DD who is 16 watches the show. Strangulation is extreme, it shouldn't be introduced as entertainment on mainstream TV. Gross.

Ledkr - interesting you say that. I was thinking he doesn't have any emotions - he's thrill-seeking but what he's actually looking for is emotion and then subsequently emotional connection with someone. He's searching in vain right now.

I think it's awful that they showed the strangulation scene. Why? Why did they do that?

Knowing that the show is watched by young teens and this is being presented as 'normal' behaviour.

I thought it seemed very staged too twit it seemed as though when they'd carried it out enough so that the viewers knew what they were doing, they got up and walked away as though nothing had happened. Odd.

Oh yes, they are both acutely aware of the camera and her posturing over him is very pornified. These two clowns are just narcissists and I feel sorry for the others having to be party to their exhibitionism. .

It was a joke of an episode they continue with the others when the main house knows 🙄. Ryan gives away even more 🙄even bb have given up on him just using Andrew!! 🙄 And marco and Laura seriously!! Channel 5 were wrong showing the strangling, it added nothing and it was such a blatant play for air time just no!! I think this maybe the end for me it just makes me 😡😡

I have complained and he did look at the camera. I complained to channel five and of com. This is what I wrote;
I would like to complain about this evenings episode of bb. I feel the behaviour shown by marco has been unacceptable and should not have been shown on TV. In particular, where he asks to be strangled with a belt, and where he says he would like to call her a cunt and have her tell him she loves him.

I feel these are extreme sexual practices that may influence younger viewers in a negative way.

You did issue warnings but I simply don't think they go far enough. I strongly feel it should not have been shown at all.

On another note, does the night vision cameras make anybody look half decent? It makes everyone look freaky
