Just coming to the end of season 7 on More 4 - 5 more to watch. Is there any character as enjoyable to watch?
Remember when Peter hit (Chandler - the republican guy) and Eli told Alicia? His facial expressions are fabulous. I love Alan Cumming, going to miss him the most!

I heard that Alan Cumming wanted to leave last series, but am glad he didn't. Really want him to have his own spin-off!

Brilliant character. In fact, all the characters in TGW have been very good imo with the exception of smug Jason and Kalinda's silly husband.

Oh smug Jason. Why was he always smiling and why did he have no backstory? I really don't feel like Alicia would fall for him. Wish Matthew Goode had come back and swept her off her feet.

The ensemble cast for TGW was exceptional, which I think is why Kalinda's stupid husband and Jason jar so much. Michael J Fox, Martha Plimpton (alas not seen in the more recent series, I wish she had been), Rita Wilson, Elsbeth Tascione - the list goes one. Many of the judges were amazing as well. Nearly every character so well written and well-rounded and interesting that they could have a series built around them. Hell, the NSA guys could and should have had their own series.

I stopped watching it this year - I realised Alicia was a twat who would never ever be happy and actually disliked her own kids.

But Eli was always perfection.

He was brilliant in a little Lisa Kudrow web series too. Love him.

Eli was my fav character in TGW. Love him, fascinating to watch.

Particularly because Alicia is lacking facial expressions these days. Someone has to have them for her.

Eli was just brilliant, but found it super hard to see him other than camp? The relationships and daughter was difficult to belive but a brilliant actor none the less

Lweji I actually laughed out loud to that! I thought no one was answering! I've still got 4 episodes to watch but I think I'm going to get cross at the finish. I wish she had ended up with Finn.
I found all the moving around firms extremely irritating. Kalinda's husband was an awful story line.
I can't imagine any other tv show devoting time to such things as drone ethics! It's a bit West Wung in that respect. What will I watch now?
