I'm a binge watcher on Netflix and looking for my next fix.

I'm almost finished second run through of Breaking Bad and was thinking of giving The Tudors a go. Anyone enjoy or otherwise?

Laughing at wank pots sounds a bit like penis beaker to me.

I remember thinking that I was sure Henry 8th wasn't Irish....

Colm Wilson roaring about being a proud Yorkshire man in a strong Irish accent was also hilarious, in fact the accents made it all the funnier.

The guy who played Edward Stafford would have been far far better cast as Henry VIII than JRM. Physically for certain, possibly due to acting ability too - I found JRM acting of a powerful man seemed to be just deepening his voice a shouting irksome. Exact same method in Dracula.

I'm enjoying the comments and enjoying what I've seen so far. Can't believe I've never seen Henry Cavill before! Everyone is implausibly beautiful which could irritate me somewhat. But I suspect I should let go of this and the inaccuracies (history graduate) and enjoy it for what it is Grin

It's absolute hooey. But perfectly watchable if you given to all the nonsense.
