I've got 6 days - what should I be watching?

I'm signed off sick for six days.
I have access to Netflix and all the iPlayers and the internet.
What should I be watching?
I don't think I have time for a twelve series epic, but I can certainly crack on with some good tv.
I loved: the wire, game of thrones, OITNB, making a murderer, Xfiles. Gossip girl, pretty little liars etc.

Any suggestions?

The west wing - best programme ever. Goes on for 8 seasons.

Kevin Spacey version of House of Cards is brilliant.

Flowers on All4 aired a couple of weeks ago (only 6 episodes)

Ray Donovan (not sure if it is on Netflix tbh)

Speedy recovery btw Flowers

iZombie is really good fun, definitely worth a watch.

Jessica Jones is also pretty good.

ArtyFartyQueen · 10/05/2016 02:29

House of Cards for sure! I have just finished it and I'm gutted I have to wait a year for the next series! Other than that maybe orange is the new black or the good wife?

peaky blinders. season 3 on bbc2 now but 1 and 2 on Netflix. Cillian murphy is great in it ( as an actor- and also rather fanciable).

Davros · 10/05/2016 09:45

The Night Manager
The People vs OJ Simpson
??
Wishing you a speedy recovery

gingerboy1912 · 10/05/2016 09:47

Sons of anarchy
Breaking bad
The walking dead
Game of thrones
Outlander
Vikings

Davros · 10/05/2016 10:41

The Durrells

FastWindow · 10/05/2016 10:44

Breaking bad for sure.
Wayward Pines is shaping up well.
Jessica Jones yes
Give American Horror Story a miss, it ran out of steam fast.
Bates Motel- love it. Very well plotted and Vera Farmiga is outstanding as Motherrrrr!

FastWindow · 10/05/2016 10:45

And Once upon a Time is gorgeous.

Truckingalong · 10/05/2016 10:51

Breaking bad over anything else.

FastWindow · 10/05/2016 10:58

The only problem with BB is that its like drinking a very fine wine. You're ruined for anything less. Took me ages to not think everything else was crap Grin

I also kind of wish i was still in the lovely position of not having seen it yet, iykwim!

MovingOnUpMovingOnOut · 10/05/2016 11:01

The Good Wife
Line of Duty
Orphan Black
The Bridge

Lolly12 · 10/05/2016 11:08

All Netflix:
How to get away with murder
Bloodline
Love

Wishing you a speedy recovery!

Glitteryfrog · 10/05/2016 11:13

Breaking bad was good...but the wire is better!
I'll have a look at your suggestions a bit later on :)

moonandforward · 11/05/2016 06:50

The Night Manager
Line of Duty

Marmaladeday · 11/05/2016 06:53

Fargo is incredible and on netflix , leftovers is amazing but I don't know where you will find it.
The wire is definitely better than breaking bad Grin

Cleebope · 15/05/2016 21:31

So 6 days over. What have you watched and how would you rate it?

Glitteryfrog · 15/05/2016 21:59

Nothing!
I had the concentration and sleep habits of a toddler. (After effects of anaesthetic and mega painkillers) so I had lots of afternoon naps and watched homes under the hammer and people moving to Spain programmes.
I also had visitors and got taken out for coffee.
Now I'm feeling better I shall keep the recommendations on file and work through them.

Haha - the plans of mice and men and all that. Glad you are better but if you haven't watched The Walking Dead you ain't lived. Plus Andrew Lincoln will get your blood flowing better and thus aid recovery. Not on Netflix though.
