Susiesoap7 · 13/05/2016 20:19

Reading this thread tonight and it dawned on me when we left Lichfield cathedral yesterday took the wrong turn to go back into town and walked right by Erasmus Darwins house! Won't forget him in a hurry thank you al! 🌞

toldmywrath · 13/05/2016 20:38

Raahh yeah I thought the same - only 37 miles. I don't quite manage that with my dog , but the way Al was going on!

toldmywrath · 13/05/2016 20:39

By the way RT I dreamt about hat fittings & what way around they should go- I awoke with a start & thought- RT is right about those type of knitted hats. Grin

toldmywrath · 13/05/2016 20:42

Another Sewing Bee lover here I did get a CSE in sewing, so I can put buttons on & do minor repairs. I hate sewing though , so I never do any for fun. IMO sewing for fun& funrun are oxymorons.

toldmywrath · 13/05/2016 20:44

Susie I'm not sure how far you are from Lichfield, but if I was in that area I'd have gone to look at The Mill as well. Have you been/were you tempted?

TheDrsDocMartens · 13/05/2016 21:42

told I'm singing to myself now ' I can call you Betty and you can caaaalllllll me Al' Grin

AnneEyhtMeyer · 13/05/2016 21:44

That song was on the radio this morning and I thought of this thread!

Raahh · 13/05/2016 21:50

I love this thread. However dull and worthy the programme gets, we find our own entertainmentGrin

Haha love that you thought of this thread when the song came on. My cats are totally indifferent when I sing along to it.

Yeah this is a lovely thread & not much disagreement hat measuring excepted We all have our love/hate characters, but that is personal opinion & great.

Susiesoap7 · 14/05/2016 09:35

Hi toldmywrath, I live about 10miles from Lichfield, but I don't drive otherwise I would have checked out the mill. Have to bus it everywhere 🌝
