Mind you, the tattooed baby scene made me lose the plot completely (14 weeks preg) DP thought he was going to have to slap me at one point - was crying and laughing and totally hysterical!

really? i really think it's lost touch with itself. i loved veronica and her bloke, i think she provided some tether to reality after fiona went. now it's the maguires, which means that things are going to go cccrrraaaazzzeeee, which will be annoying. and the tattoo thing was bollocks, imho. no-one would do that to a small baby.

having said that, the second ep on e4 was a bit better. i really think they'll have to watch that it doesn't turn into a cartoon, though. only the children seem real any more.

Recorded it and watched it tonight. Got very excited when I realised that Monica's lesbian lover is Rosetti Wordsworth from Storymakers!
Excellent as always. Didn't mind farfetchedness, it's not a soap.

oh I love it when cbbcers turn up in 'real' telly. I remember once my sister phoned me to tell me big cook little cook were on some clip show and scandal they are both the same size and one of them said f**k!

The beauty of Shameless is its farfetchedness I reckon... all those wonderfully awful situations that you pray you never live near to!!!! It's great fun and good entertainment.
