I watched this and was infuriated with his Dad his inability to be honest for a minute was so annoying the good news is he gets clean and is still clean.

He was using for at least 30 odd years unless he was locked up I don't think he ever stopped. He lost everything, family, housing any self worth yet he would not stop using. I hope he stays clean we need to come up with better ways of managing long term addiction.

I felt so sorry for everyone involved. Including the dad even though he lied and lied. Addiction is a terrible thing
