Can't believe I'll be on holiday when the all the excitement is going on. That was seriously bad planning.

Ellie was playing the teacher card with Xanthe. Didn't want a pupil seeing what she got up to.

Agree about Jack choosing the priesthood over Paige. He's had a lucky escape. She didn't take long to move on.

Hope Paul gets Lassiters back, just to annoy Terese. I used to like the Penthouse he lived in, always fancied living in one, room service on tap all day long.

Why did Paige have to tell Piper about her dalliance with Tyler, where angels fear to tread.

Because she wanted to feel good about herself. She was asserting herself as a grown up who's attractive to men. Tis why she slept with him & she felt compelled to tell "Pipes" because she's humiliated over Jack & wants the world to know someone wanted her. The best way to do that was by sleeping with a teenager's ex so said teenager would tell everyone for her & she gets to remind everyone that a drunk bloke had sex with her by whinging about how bad she feels for hurting her sister. She'll probably discover her religious side & decide she needs to confess her sin to her local priest, y'know, just in case he hasn't heard already. The jealousy will be what makes Jack change his mind. Or that's what she's hoping.

I may be over invested in this...

Bloody hell Paige gets worse every day. The writers must hate her to make her character so totally and utterly awful in every way.

I just don't understand this power she seems to have over everyone- for once Lauren was like 'you are being a nasty bitch' (paraphrased of course) Paige just says 'poor me poor me' again and they were all like 'oh yes, poor Paige' again. It's so infuriating.

So much Paige rage today. I don't think I've ever disliked a character this much. I'm not sure the writers intend for her to be this unlikeable though. I really want someone to stick up for Piper in this but I can't see it being Brad! Maybe Madison?

Brad does nothing, EVER. Lauren did more for Piper and she's not her parent!

I agree Middle that Lauren isn't Pipers parent but she did systematically go after stealing her dad from her mum, so it's the least she can do (& yes, I know a man can't be stolen but I do still think if someone is constantly offering it on a plate, then it is very hard to resist!).

Brad & Lauren are both selfish fuckers & Paige is definitely a chip off the old block!

I Terese had a bit to do with it too but then she "stole" Brad off Beth in the first place, if that's how you want to put it. He's just a young Karl

Agree with that too Middle - he seems a very self absorbed & weak man. Would love it if Beth came back into it (original Beth, no one with a new head!!)

They should definitely bring Natalie Imbruglia back as Beth. Maybe Kylie as well. They would certainly put Madison and Elly in the shade. Could be the new singing sensation of Erinsborough, along with Doctor Karl!

I'd like to see Sonia bugger off and Steph get together with the Toad.

The original Lauren was the first Neighbours character that I disliked - selfish, self-absorbed whiner who couldn't keep her hands off another person's partner - who does that sound like?

To be fair, loans for going concerns like the hotel are often done by bringing together a group of investors - if Paul can do it, then so can Therese (as Susan says ). It's not that Therese would be getting a loan just herself.

Having said that, it takes hard graft and business cases and visits to venture capitalists - all of which take time.

But I suppose it's like the amazing job offers, plane tickets and "time off" from school that all happen instantaneously in Neighboursland Why should buying a hotel be any different?

Paul seems to have money again. He's only been out of jail for a month.

But don't you know, the Australian legal system is SO fast that he got gazillions in compensation instantaneously!

Also another unprofessional teacher, Ellie making an inappropriate comment to Piper and then Piper retorting (who would blame her).

What was so bad about what Piper said to ellie?

I agree - I think Piper was treated rather harshly (over-invested, moi? )

Maybe Mr Udegawa is going to loan Paul the money. It's about time he made as return, they drag everyone else back from the dead/ Queensland/Ballarat/Home&Away?
