Maddison is indeed awful (and it's not as though the bar for quality in actors is set very high to begin with, is it?)

It made me laugh when she said the police should be investigating Spencer because it was such a coincidence a total stranger being in a hotel the morning of the bombing.

Yeah I laughed at the stranger in hotel bit too. It was a stupid line. So Madison is a journalist. She looks like she's just left school. I suppose she is going to crack the explosion mystery and save Uncle Paul. Surely Mark will arrest her for using an illegal whiteboard.

What happened at the end of today's episode? Julie Quill and Nate were talking in the bar and suddenly my Sky box lost its signal. It came back on when the trailers for tomorrow were on. Couldn't rewind it.

Paul said to Mark he's got rid of the whiteboard. I bet he's hiding it somewhere. I liked the bit where Paul stuck his false leg out for the tracker device.

Nate sent a text message to someone who is blackmailing him and I think he checked Julie's phone while she was away to see if she's the one blackmailing him but no text appeared in her phone.
What's Nate supposed to have done, I've missed some episodes?

Ah but John Doe wasn't staying at Lasiters or else they'd now who he was - you'd think if he was visiting a guest there he would be unaccounted for against the hotel guest list would say, they'd surely have checked against guests due to check in the day and see if any of those are missing. He can't have been a guest of a guest as again that person would have come forward to say he was missing. So he may have only been then to tamper with the boiler, especially if the only person who knew him was the one who paid him to be there. I'm thinking Tom And/or Julie quill paid him to do it, they knew the boiler was playing up and we're hoping it would look like an accident for the insurance money, plus the rebuild could include the new tower which had been refused permission

The only spoiler about John Doe I've seen is that we're going to be surprised by who he is. Could it be Paige has fallen in love with her brother and grandfathers killer?

I loved the fact that they could get everything organised for Imogen's wedding in a couple of hours and weren't bothered that she was getting married in such a rush. I really liked her original dress with the blue & cream stripes.

I think John Doe is the key - Julie was very interested to hear he'd woken up. And I don't believe she's bothered about Tom- she didn't even like him.

I actually like Madison looks like I'm in a minority!

Did anyone else notice Neds name missing from Josh's headstone? They were brothers right? Annoying Paige made it on even though she's only been there awhile!

Yeah, I think it's all part of the Ned hating Brad plot. They seemed to make it up today but it was all a little too easy. I don't think he's forgiven Brad yet.

I've thought all along that Tom isn't dead, Julie is in on it and it's an insurance scam/revenge plot against Paul.

I think it is Tom Quill sending the texts.I think Julie did this as an insurance scam and Tom is now blackmailing Aaron. Can't figure out if they are working together though.

Anyone else notice that the text Nate sent changed? In the first shot it read 'tell me what you want?', in the second shot 'what do you want?'. This may be first time I have realised I have no life anymore :/ lol.

I agree that Julie is acting suspiciously and the thing with Paul today added to that.

Julie thought Tom has left so she will now be thinking that she is responsible for his death. Interesting that the amount of money asked for is the same as the amount he left in the hotel room, although may just be a coincidence.

Julie's acting is awful and her Scottish accent was coming out tonight (not that it is to do with her acting)

I thought Julie was meant to be Scottish? Is she supposed to be acting Australian?
Her accent is a bit like Paul's son Andrew's, he had a strange Aussie/Scot mix.
Julie isn't the greatest actor but her chemistry with Paul is fantastic, they seem to have a lot of fun working together. I would say that him being on the show is what got her the job, but apparently she's auditioned for a role before and didn't get it.
