I hate football.. I live with three blokes ( dh, 2 sons) they all dislike the beautiful game too.

As a country we don't put money in to sport at a young enough age (unlike other countries) we then bitch & moan when our sports people are a bit shit.

Yep Nancy you're right. most teams start picking academy players at age 7, most kids aren't even interested in playing football until that age. Plus many teams would rather play a tested foreign player than an inexperienced British player.
