24 Hours in A&E - I recognise Matthew but can't place him!

The tall chap who was with his friend with the blurred vision. I recognise him from something on TV but can't place him. It's driving me crazy! Was it Big Brother??

I recognised both of them and had definitely heard him explain what happened to his poor parents before. I couldnt place them either though.

Was so sad that they had to stick together because of bullying.

I missed the bit about what happened to his parents - I just heard his friend saying that he saw their names among the people who'd been killed.......what was it?

I also recognise Jason. It didn't say how his parents died. I wonder if I remember him from when it happened if it was in the news......but it would have been a long time ago so probably not.

Their friendship is bringing a tear to my eye, I must be hormonal but it's so lovely.

Jason's parents were killed in a mass murder in the New Forest in 1986. His grandparents were also killed. It was a revenge robbery by an ex employee, they gang raped and strangled his mother, then set the rest of them on fire! Absolutely horrific. Some of them appealed in 2008 but had their sentences increased! I think his parents were called Tom and Wendy Cleaver.

I've just looked up the Cleaver killing, that is absolutely horrendous. I hope those evil bastards are never freed.

Perhaps this time he succeeded. However he died, I find it very sad.
