you know on the internet they've been saying this will be on in Australia/NZ too (and about a week ago in fact). And there is NO SIGN of it. I am truly gutted, even more so than I am about missing This Life. I have even (fraudulently I think) signed up to the Channel 4 online service just in case I can watch it some time...

because it is probably the last ever Green Wing you know

they're not going to do another series because they can't get everyone together.
so they are doing a one-off special to finish it all off.

I think it's a Christmas Special.
