Dead clever?.Who watched it??

wow thought this was good anybody else????????????

I had an idea it would be good, but didn't watch it, as decided I wouldn't fancy it after all. Should have recorded it maybe. I watched the second half of Eastenders which also started at 9.00, so didn't bother to watch Dead Clever half an hour in. I was a big fan of Suranne Jones when she was in Corrie. I loved her character, Karen.

I watched it, it was good! Gutted I missed Eastenders though, I didn't know it was on again.

It was great, right up til the complete cop out of an ending. Was gutted. Thought they'd do something more clever than that. Tch.

Glad yer one from Corrie is getting lots of work though. SHe's very good. Liked that thingy she was in recently about the sex therapists.

The second part of Eastenders was Pauline's funeral. Quite a tear jerker actually, and Dot called the police to grass Sonia up.

I enjoyed it but dh thought julie was rather cruel to Ian. I begged to differ. The rat!

i watched it and thought it was brill, right up until the end which i thought could have been done a lot better.

i was enjoying it until near the end when ian was drunk in the queue for the book reading and when questioned about his state he said he had cerebral palsy and everyone always thinks he is drunk......spoilt the rest of the show for me and left me with a large lump in my throat.......

Wow am amazed at the responses to this as was expecting it to be slated... I watched it in a state of disbelief thinking it could only get better ... and then wanted my 2 hours back at the awful awful ending... billed as cheap war of the roses, it was appalling, was not funny, dramatic or believable... to go from that upbringing to huge riches and then back to bankrupcy ?? shagging her mother?? token lesbianism? Come on ... tell me what was so good about it... I must have missed the subtlties of it!!

I agree chatee. That was just stupid - he was clearly pissed and not CP.

It was a bit Lynda LaPlante wasn't it (and I don't mean that in a complimentary way)? It was ok as pure fantasy/comedy but I was expecting a decent crime thriller. Childish and self-indulgent.

i was waiting to see if anyone else noticed that chatee, when he said it i just sat open-mouthed at the screen, i couldnt believe that they would put something like that in the script, its just so wrong, i felt really sad also as my DD has CP, its a bit like harking back to older times when people used to make fun of disabled people like this, i thought most of that had passed now.
