We enjoyed it. However I think it may cause bad dreams in DD (6). Not sure about DS(3). Was rather frightened by the alien coming up the stairs, but glad that Sarah Jane 'splatted' it.

Neither of mine bother about stuff like that , think its aimed at CBBC age group though.
Do your kids watch Dr Who?

dd (6) really enjoyed it - I thought it was quite good actually. Can't help thinking of the evil Bain woman as Moneypenny though! Thought Elisabeth Sladen (sarah jane) looked absolute fantastic for 58!

We recorded this, as we were out when it was on. My three are glued now. Ahhh, peace... for a while at least!

foxinsocks · 01/01/2007 18:22

or absolutely (brain still addled from last night)

fullmoonfiend · 01/01/2007 18:27

She's 58?? Really? Good lord she looks fabulous. We discovered by accident, boys (both avid Dr Who addicts) were enthralled and I quite enjoyed it too. Want her house

I know FMF! I looked it up because dh commented how much he had fancied her when she was originally in Doctor Who!

Just read that somewhere else, told my Mam (54) and she is very

Well, we've just finished watching it and we think that it's much much better than Torchwood!

JackieNo · 01/01/2007 21:06

It was great - and she does look amazing for 58. We haven't let the DCs watch Dr Who so far, Nikkie, and on their reaction to this, I think it was the right decision.
